Step 1: The Art of Meaningful Story

This course is required & provides the foundation for all other courses in Anistemi Authors Academy, our long-form publication pathway. Using myths, fairytales, and biblical texts, we will explore the power of creative writing to make abstract ideas concrete.

Step 2: Story Craft: Composition for Creatives

This course may be taken with The Art of Meaningful Story. It provides a thorough and rigorous examination of how the elements of written composition and guides authors in professional editing skills. By thinking like editors, authors will be equipped to develop and polish their unique and sophisticated author style and voice.

Step 3: Prepare to Publish

This course is an provides a professional-level foundation for editors and writers. In this course, we create a completely customized strategy to achieve your writing goals. Projects include: preparing an entry-level portfolio of published works, creating your author brand & bio, building a simple author website, and developing an individualized approach to growing and nurturing an audience. Authors will also understand why each of these elements are crucial for maintaining control of your creative works & career trajectory.

Step 4: Write Your Breakthrough Novel

This course may be taken with Prepare to Publish (or not!). Authors are led through a flexible yet systematic approach to planning and writing a breakthrough novel—while receiving the support and encouraging accountability needed to achieve their goal!

Step 5: Capstone Project - Manuscript

If your manuscript doesn't uphold all formatting standards, it is automatically dismissed by publishers. This short, self-paced session will ensure authors understand why this is—and know exactly how to ensure their novel manuscript will pass its first test on the road to pursuing a publication contract!
